Yves Sele is your Grand Prix Strasbourg champion!

On Saturday morning, 1,616 players from all over the world entered the main event to take their shot at a winner's trophy in the Ravnica Allegiance Limited format. In the end, it was Yves Sele who was triumphant, defeating Kim Chang Kyum in the finals and earning a large part of the $50,300 prize pool

The Top 8 also featured such luminaries as Pascal Vieren in his third Grand Prix Top 8 in a row and Hall of Famer Raphaël Lévy. But in the Top 8 draft, Yves Sele was able to navigate into colors that were open, and he was rewarded with the mythical power of Biogenic Ooze and Ravager Wurm. His powerful deck and tight plays were enough to take the trophy.

After a long MagicFest weekend, also filled with numerous side events, vendors, artists, cosplayers, and prizes, what else is there to do but look forward to the next one. Until then - congratulations to Yves Sele, champion of Grand Prix Strasbourg 2019!
